"Life is eternal, and love is immortal, and death is only a horizon; and a horizon is nothing save the limit of our sight" (Rossiter W Raymond)

Sometimes, a family would prefer to plan and lead the funeral or memorial of their loved one themselves.  This approach can result in a truly personal and meaningful ceremony, to be treasured by all of those present.

However, in the days following bereavement, you may simply not feel able to think straight. You may be overwhelmed by all of the decisions and tasks required of you.

Writing a meaningful tribute takes a lot of time and planning. It can be hard to combine your own memories and perspectives with those of others who might also wish to contribute.

I will meet with you and your family, enabling you to talk freely about the person who has died and share your stories about them. I will use your memories to create a picture of the person they were, allowing you to add or amend anything you wish. Once you are completely happy with the finished tribute, I will provide you with a presentation copy for you to deliver at the service.
